Know the lay of the land.
Colony Club is an inland, gated community on Highway 59. Plan to drive to the beach: Gulf Place is about 5 miles away, and the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion is about 7.5 miles away by road.
The guides distinguish the Gulf Shores beach district from Orange Beach and Foley so you can group stops sensibly. A waterfront dinner in Orange Beach is a different outing from breakfast along the condo’s Highway 59 corridor.
Driving distances were checked in Google Maps from the community address on September 11, 2026. Routes and travel times vary. Each place has a directions link for your day of travel.
